Administration and Secretarial Skills BTEC Level 3 Diploma Course

Summary: 

This one year course covers all the background knowledge and skills required to start a career in administration or secretarial work.  The course can also  prepare you for an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration.  To help you do this, we support you in taking a 1 day a week placement in a large organisation such as Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. 

Course Length: 
One year
Entry Requirements: 

4 GCSEs at Grade C or above
or Level 2 Certificate in Administration, First Diploma in Business or Retail or a similar qualification
or Related work experience

Career Progression: 
  • An Advanced Apprenticeship with, for example, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital
  • Employment in a range of Administrative E
  • Foundation Degree in Business Management
  • Business, Administration and Finance Diploma
Full Description: 

When you successfully complete the course you will have the opportunity of starting an Advanced Apprenticeship In Business Administration.  This would be a one year paid placement where you would work full time while continuing your training in the workplace.
