This one year course covers all the background knowledge and skills required to start a career in administration or secretarial work. The course can also prepare you for an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration. To help you do this, we support you in taking a 1 day a week placement in a large organisation such as Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
4 GCSEs at Grade C or above
or Level 2 Certificate in Administration, First Diploma in Business or Retail or a similar qualification
or Related work experience
- An Advanced Apprenticeship with, for example, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital
- Employment in a range of Administrative E
- Foundation Degree in Business Management
- Business, Administration and Finance Diploma
When you successfully complete the course you will have the opportunity of starting an Advanced Apprenticeship In Business Administration. This would be a one year paid placement where you would work full time while continuing your training in the workplace.
The qualifications you will gain are:
- BTEC Award in Business Administration Level 3
You will study subjects such as Administration, the Law, Organising Projects and Co-ordination of Events, Leadership, Presentations and IT.
