BTEC HND Top Up Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Part Time)

This course is designed for Electrical / Electronics Engineering Higher Technicians working in Engineering or Maintenance. It extends the knowledge of those who have achieved a BTEC HNC Engineering qualification. It could be used as an intermediate step towards an Engineering Degree course.
16 Units are required to achieve a HND qualification. This course gives an additional 6 units, which when added to 10 achieved at HNC level gives the required number of units. Applicants who have achieved their HNC from another college should also be aware that a minimum of 8 units should be at the higher “H2” level.
BTEC HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or HNC Mechatronics).
Note that the correct combination of H1 and H2 units must be achieved. This may lead to students choosing a different combination of units to those listed above to complete the HND qualification.
After the course you may decide to progress to a Degree course or continue your career.
