Entry Requirements:
Four GCSE's grades A*-D in English, Maths, and a subject related to Hospitality would be advisable.
Academic Progression:
The BTEC Hospitality Diploma Level 2 is designed to keep your options open. It is broadly equivaltn to 4 GCSE's.
It could lead to the Level 3 Hospitality or Level 3 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Supervision or another Level 3 course at the college or even an apprenticeship with an employer.

Full Description:
The Higher Diploma in Hospitality is an ideal course for you if you are interested in the field of Hospitality and want to explore your opportunities within the industry. In the Hospitality Diploma you will be introduced to Health and Safety aspects and other ways in which the law affects the industry. you will learn about the principles of Healthy Eating and have the change to put your learning into practice when planning and running a Hospitality Event.
You will also study some of the basics of financial management, such as budgeting and accounts, which are key skills if you are planning to run a Hospitality Business. The course will expand and develop your communication and personal skills, which are essential in a customer-centred industry like Hospitality.
You will get experience of realistic working environments within our Debut Restaurant and the kitchen environment. This will build your confidence in customer service and team working skills. This will provide you with a combination of learning and experiences that will be welcomed by colleges and employers, no matter which career you choose.
