CIEH Principles of Manual Handling Certificate

Summary: 

Health and safety training providers have identified a growing need to make learning more relevant to specific business environments to increase effectiveness.  Reflecting sector-specific needs these safety qualifications are required to address new National Occupational Standards.  It is therefore vital they are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively.  This qualification introduces candidates to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It will enable employees to develop safer manual handling techniques in the workplace.  In line with this demand, the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) Level 2 Award in the Principles of Manual Handling has been designed to address the health & safety needs of all sectors.
