The Level seven Diploma for The Chartered Banker is designed to give you a broad and balanced understanding and knowledge of the banking sector. This qualification enhances job-related skills by studying a wide range of subjects which are designed to enable candidates to gain the knowledge and skills both for current practice and the rapidly changing industry.
The qualification consists of one mandatory 20 credit unit: Professionalism and Ethics, plus 10 other 20 credit units from different combinations of optional units. Candidates must take at least one unit from optional group A, and at least three units from optional group B. Additional units can be taken from optional group C or from any of the remaining units from optional groups A and B. A total number of 220 credits must be gained to achieve the qualification.

The qualification provides opportunities for progression within an organisation and a professional qualification to enhance the standing of individuals and the organisations in which they work.
The course takes up to two years to complete using a blend of supported home study and college tuition. Assessment for this programme is by assignment and online examination.
The Diploma is aimed at those who seek to gain a broad understanding and who already hold a Level five qualification in a similar discipline and/or relevant industry experience working within the banking sector.
