Entry Requirements:
The minimum age is 18 years on or before the of the commencement of the programme, sufficient and appropriate prior experience in Childcare or appropriate level 3 qualification, potential for successful study at HE level. commitment to study and work in the sector and commitment to the work-experience component.
Assessment:
Assessment is by assignments, presentations and portfolios
Academic Progression:
Students completing the programme can progress onto the final year of the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies and then apply for initial teacher training programmes or Early Years Professional status training and development.
Career Progression:
Graduates from this programme can expect to access a wide variety of careers, including management of early year's settings and local authority work in support of young children.
