Seminar to Help Businesses Make the Most of the Budget
Date:
29/04/2010 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm

With the local and national economy emerging from recession, the March Budget heralded some important changes for businesses large and small. A free seminar, to be hosted by City College Norwich on Thursday 29th April, will highlight these changes and help businesses to make the most of the Chancellor’s latest tax measures.

Colin Fish, a Tax Partner at Lovewell Blake Chartered Accountants, will be giving a considered review of the latest tax changes in the Budget and will speak about the effects of these changes on different types of business. The seminar will focus on tax planning opportunities and give business owners a reminder of the key measures from previous budgets.

Mr Fish specialises in providing the full range of tax advice to business clients and their owners.  His areas of specialism include remuneration planning, corporate tax planning and capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning for business owners. Mr Fish said: “In an increasingly complex business environment, proactive tax advice is essential to allow business owners to minimise their future tax liabilities. This advice comes from maintaining a close relationship with the business and identifying tax planning opportunities at an early stage.”

The seminar will be held at the National Skills Academy for Financial Services, St Andrews House, Norwich, NR2 4TP on Thursday 29th April 2010 at 6pm. Light refreshments will be provided from 5.30pm and the seminar will finish at 7pm.  The seminar is free to attend but booking is essential. Please contact City College Norwich on 01603 773 500 or conference@ccn.ac.uk to confirm your place.
