Wilhemina named higher education student of the year

Early Years Foundation Degree student Wilhemina Paul-Wright, who spoke little English when she arrived in the UK 8 years ago from war-torn Sierra Leone, has been named City College Norwich’s Higher Education Student of the Year.

Wilhemina was chosen for the award because of her achievements during the 2-year Foundation Degree course, and for the determined yet unassuming way in which she has overcome a number of challenges to get to where she is today.
