The Hotel School at City College Norwich has two exciting apprenticeship opportunities: we are looking for a Hospitality Professional Cookery Advanced Apprentice and a Hospitality Supervision Advanced Apprentice to join our team and support the operation of our commercial catering facilities.
Hospitality Professional Cookery Advanced Apprentice
An exciting opportunity to develop your experience in the hospitality industry in the School of Hotel, Hair and Beauty Industries at City College Norwich. We are looking to recruit an individual who wishes to advance their current experience from level 2 to advanced level. You will be part of a team operating the catering facilities within the college on a commercial basis; this is a new venture to increase the use of facilities and to meet customer demand. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to participate in development for culinary competitions through the School’s links
Ideally we would be looking to appoint a candidate who has already completed a level 2 Apprenticeship programme or at least VRQ level 2 in professional cookery, and is keen to progress to the advanced level and is looking for a role that offers development opportunities to enhance career progression whilst working in first class facilities.
The successful applicant will be working within School of Hotel, Hair and Beauty Industries and will be undertaking a Professional cookery Advanced Apprenticeship; they will therefore be engaged in all aspects of food preparation and cooking work within the Debut Restaurant and Cafe and across the campus. The School is a vibrant department within the College focusing on developing students to work in the service sector by engaging and supporting local businesses in developing their staff and business.
Hospitality Supervision Advanced Apprentice
An exciting opportunity to develop your experience in the hospitality industry, in the School of Hotel, Hair and Beauty Industries at City College Norwich. We are looking to recruit an individual who wishes to advance their current experience from level 2 to advanced level. You will be part of a team operating the catering facilities within the college on a commercial basis; this is a new venture to increase the use of facilities and to meet customer demand. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to participate in development for culinary competitions through the schools links.
Ideally we would be looking to appoint a candidate who has already completed a level 2 Apprenticeship programme or at least level 2 in food and drink service, and is keen to progress to the advanced level and is looking for a role that offers development opportunities to enhance career progression whilst working in first class facilities.
The successful applicant will be working within the School of Hotel, Hair and Beauty Industries and will be undertaking a Leadership and Supervision Advanced Apprenticeship; they will therefore be engaged in all aspects of restaurant and service work within the Debut Restaurant and Cafe and across the campus. The School is a vibrant department within the College focusing on developing students to work in the service sector by engaging and supporting local businesses in developing their staff and business.
