Dementia - a Norfolk challenge

On Monday of this week my staff in our School of Health and Community Studies organised a day long conference on Dementia. Based at our fantastic St Andrews House facility (http://tinyurl.com/62tmjkf) over 90 students turned up to hear a variety of speakers - including from lecturers from the UEA, Willie Cruikshank from the Dementia Alliance and a number of other experts - talk about Dementia and what it means for Norfolk.

We are determined to ensure that students at City College Norwich get access to the latest information and issues within their chosen field of study and we will ensure that these sorts of conferences will becoome a regular event at the College.

That way we will play our small part in making sure that Norfolk has the human resources it needs to meet the challenges of tomorrow as well as today.
