The Student Ambassadors initiative at City College Norwich was a concept originally put forward by a group of enterprising young students themselves and developed by the College in response.
The initiative aims to seek out individuals or groups of students who exemplify enterprise and determination to succeed in their chosen fields. In return for some small financial and/or practical resources supplied by the College, the Ambassadors sign a pledge to act as role models for the College - representing the institution both within the campus to their peers and within the public sphere - where their endeavours often lead them.
This is a win-win situation for all concerned. The College benefits through the public exposure that these bright young students generate as they make their way towards their chosen goals. The students benefit through having some resourced backing and through the mentorship and experience that the College is able to provide them.

The College is currently supporting a number of Student Ambassadors:
Interim Records
Interim Records (http://www.interimrecords.co.uk) is an up-and-coming record and media label conceived, constructed and wholly developed by a group of young students from City College Norwich. In their own words:
"Interim Records is part of the Interim media group, which has two divisions; Interim entertainment and Interim Records. The media group started early 2009 after the production team of Interim records decided that adding the new branch would reach out to further possibilities. Interim records are primarily an RnB and Hip Hop production team, although they cover genres such as Dancehall, Club, Pop and Zambian music too. Its primary audience reaches to all people interested in the electronic genres.
At present, we are working hand in hand with clothes designers as we want to have a branch within the label that will be responsible for clothing and designs, Up-Grade is the branch of the label thats responsible for everything to do with clothing and gear."
Interim Records is a fantastically professional, slick operation and the College is proud that it has helped support the development and success of the brand. Watch out in particular for C.O.L.L - he's a major talent and we expect great things from him (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr3Xzqu-188).

Hannah Vincent
Hannah is one of Norfolk's most exciting and talented young show jumpers . Hannah has overcome enormous challenges with total dedication to become one of the best show jumpers in the region - and a serious national competitor.
The College is delighted to have been able to provide Hannah with various forms of practical assistance - from a new horse blanket and jacket for competitions to the construction of a new website (currently under development). We sincerely expect to be standing on the sidelines cheering Hannah on at national and international events in the very near future.
