Awards Event to Celebrate Employers’ Contribution to Vocational Success

City College Norwich will be holding a breakfast awards event in The Forum on Wednesday 23 June to recognise and celebrate the role played by employers in supporting vocational success.  The event is being held as part of national Vocational Qualifications (VQ) Day.

VQ Day is a UK-wide celebration of the people who gain vocational qualifications every year.  Now in its third year, VQ Day aims to raise the stature and demonstrate the benefits of practical and vocational qualifications to future learners, employers, opinion formers and the wider public.

Next month around seven hundred students will graduate with Degrees and other Higher Education qualifications from City College Norwich, which is holding its annual Graduation Ceremony at Norwich Cathedral today, Saturday 17th October. City College Norwich is an Associate College of the University of East Anglia, and this will be the second year that all of the Degrees awarded will be UEA Degrees.

Celebrating student success with an awards ceremony at St Peter Mancroft Church and The Forum Norwich.The annual FE Awards Ceremony is eagerly anticipated by all our students. City College Norwich Principal Dick Palmer said, “I am incredibly proud of all our students and delighted that we are able to celebrate their tremendous success at our annual Further Education Awards. These young people deserve their evening in the spotlight.
